We all like a little something sweet in our drinks from time to time, especially with cocktail when a little bit of sweetness can really balance out the flavours.
There’s no need to rush out and buy anything special for this simple recipe – all you need is a bag of sugar and water.
What you will need:
- 125g white sugar
- 125ml of water
- Prep 2 min
- Cooking 10 min
- Ready to use in 30 min
Grab a medium size sauce pan and let’s get cooking! Firstly make sure your pan is perfectly clean so your syrup is not contaminated and your store lasts.
Pop the sugar and water together in the saucepan and bring to the boil, then keep stirring it until all the sugar is fully dissolved. Once the sugar is totally dissolved leave to cool.
One the liquid is room temperature pour into a fully sanitised bottle and store somewhere cool. You now have the simplest (but most essential) of ingredients for making one of our signature Leafy Bean cocktails.
